Welcome to my website! Thanks for coming by!
I have a ridiculously good time doing the work that I do. For me, art making is an expression of joy and is synced with my heart. My purpose is to share that joy by putting a little more artwork into the world.
When I sit down with my coffee, fountain pen, and watercolors early each morning, patterns and mandalas flow from my sleepy self, I call them my meditations, and they are the beginnings of my designs and illustrations.
I've been doing this work for many years and have many great clients and who have made wonderful products with my work. Currently I am working a lot with MetColors and Round World Products and just completed writing and illustrating a book for Peter Pauper titled "I'm Retired, Now What?"
Along with my husband, Paul Jones, I have a studio in the River Arts District in Asheville, NC. You can find us at Riverview Station, Studio 101, 191 Lyman St.
in Asheville, NC. You can also find my work at
Woolworth Walk, Booth 202, 25 Haywood
Street in Asheville, which is an old Woolworth
Store, divided into artist booths but still
with an old fashioned soda fountain.
And when I am not making art, teaching art or Pilates, I can often be found walking with my sweet little Australian Labradoodle, Rio who is the apple of my eye. I love this little guy.
